This restaurant has been opened for quiet a long time. I visited this restaurant only to try their Halu Bowl, since it is a very Instaworthy dish. Moreover, I have been a smoothie bowl fan since my trip to one of Jakarta's healthy bar Snctry (I've written this post, check out 'Scntry' article for more information). The location of this place is quiet strategic because it is next to a Sana Studio. After working out, people like to eat something healthy because they do not want their exercise to be overweighted by the unhealthy food. So, I think by serving this smoothie bowl, people are more likely to visit their restaurant.
The restaurant itself is not that big, but they have 2nd floor. Their style is that typical antique grandma's house (if you know what I mean).
I ordered two of their Halu Bowl which is the Bali (dragon fruit, papaya, pineapple, mango, strawberry, homemade granola) and the Sao Paolo (chocobanana, strawberry, homemade granola). To be honest, it is not the best smoothie bowl that I've tasted. The Bali, is a little bit too sour for me, I guess they did not pick the right mango to blend and the texture is a little bit creamy, more like a nana-cream rather than a smoothie. The homemade granola was the most disappointing. The cornflakes are not homemade (obviously), the sesame seeds give a bitter taste to the smoothie, and the oats are flavorless. The Sao Paolo was not that bad, but the homemade granola is still a huge disappointment for me. For you vegans, the chocolatechip in the Sao Paolo is not vegan, so do not order this if you're a vegan.
