State of Solitude


There is a misconception in our society regarding the difference between loneliness and solitude. The state of solitude means that someone does not feel lonely even though they are alone. In this context, alone means more to being in a situation alone. The term loneliness is often related to negative associations such as, isolation or even depression. However, solitude can be something positive, it depends on how someone perceive it. State of solitude is a moment when being alone is desirable in order for an individual to reflect, grow, and even to self-discover. It is important for someone to enjoy the company of their own as they can understand better the voices inside their head.

Nowadays, as things move faster, we often neglect the importance of mindfulness. The best way to reach mindfulness is to understand what it is that you really need. It's all about focusing your mind to what is important to you and of course what is good for you.

Taking the time to listen to your inner voices. Thinking about the things to be grateful for. Imagining the things you want to accomplish in the future. Planning ways to get there in your head, This is the beginning to achieve a more fulfilled life.

Being alone might seem scary for some people, but sometimes being alone means you enjoy life as it is and you love spending time with yourself. You can always go back to the society and the people that you love afterwards. This is not a permanent thing, you are just giving yourself a space to think clearly without any external interruptions.
